Trail 52

This trails begins at the P17 parking just off Highway 105, and stretches for 7km into Gatineau Park, meeting up with Trail #50. The trail is available for hiking and mountain biking. Trail 53

This 6.7km trail is part of the Trans-Canada Trail network, starting at the P17 parking just off Highway 105 and extending into Gatineau Park; the trail ends near the Covered Bridge entrance to Lac Philippe in Masham. The trail is available for hiking and mountain biking. Trans-Canada Trail

The Trans Canada Trail is the world’s longest network of trails, developed and promoted by a non-profit registered charity. The Wakefield section of the trail begins on chemin de la Rivière just north of Wakefield, passes through the village along chemin Riverside. Due to highway #5 construction, access to the Gatineau Park trails is not possible through chemin Mill, but can be accessed at the P17 Gatineau Park parking area off highway #105.

Village Trails

Henrick Park Trail

Hendrick Park has two trails leading from the Fairbairn House parking area. A short pleasant walk along a creek; up stone steps, across a small wooden bridge and back down. A longer trail will take you along the Gatineau River and up into the surrounding hills.
